Of course, we had to ask about those PDA pictures of Kathy and her 33-year-old beau of over a year. “What happened was I decided to do a little getaway,” she explained, joking, “You’re lucky I had clothes on at all.”

Naturally, Kathy dished on one of her favorite topics: the Kardashian family.

“I was recently victim to what I call a Kardashian police gate,” she joked. “I was staying at the same hotel as not just Kimye [Kim Kardashian and Kanye West], but the whole family … I was basically in an episode of Lockup Raw.”

Kathy further explained: “I go to the hotel and there’s a lot of paparazzi outside, never have I seen anything like this, so I actually have the gay manager of the hotel…saying, ‘Don’t go out unless you’re in full hair and makeup.’ So every time I entered the hotel or exited, and I was just there on tour and working, it was like I imagined a communist country to be … There was a military presence, like I would be in my room, and I would hear screams as if there were some sort of disaster and I realized it was the seven seconds it takes Kim and Kanye to walk to their car.”

So will things like the Kardashian hysteria be topics of Kathy’s upcoming show? You betcha!

“First of all, it’s not for the faint of heart,” she explain. “So if you think it’s an evening of Christian humor, it is not. If you think it’s an evening where there won’t be curse words, you are incorrect. It is an evening where in the way that a great pilot would want to break the silence of sound barrier, I would like to offend more people and swear more than the entire intersection of Hollywood and Highland has ever seen. I’ve got my work cut out for me.”

With the show being held on May 4 at the Dolby theatre — where the Oscars go on each year — “In my mind, it’s like I’m getting an Academy Award,” said Kathy.

Kathy said she will make an appearance at the upcoming iHeart Radio Music Festival. “I’m going bottomless and I’m going to wear a cute blouse. In the music industry, which I’m apart of, it’s all about image,” Kathy said. The Emmy’s are also weeks away where Kathy is nominated for her comedy special, “Tired Hooker.” “I believe last time you grabbed me and assaulted me,” Kathy said when describing her last trip down the red carpet with Ryan. “You kissed me and ruined my lipstick and it was offensive.” Kathy is also hoping for an appearance at the upcoming Grammy Awards. “I’m hoping to get another Grammy nomination for Best Comedy album. I’ve been nominated and lost the past four years in a row. I plan to be in the dance category alongside Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Kathy Griffin, deadmau5 my new crowd.”

Who Would Kathy Want On ‘The Real Housewives of Hollywood’?
“‘Real Housewives of Hollywood,’ I would have to say you Ryan [Seacrest]. I think you would be like the super [expletive] housewife ever, and you’d be flipping the tables,” she says, probably hoping to ruffle Ryan’s feathers. However, Ryan admits he wouldn’t mind being on it. Then Kathy had another idea: “Or why don’t you marry Reza [Farahan] from ‘The Shahs?’ That’s a moment.”

On ‘Khloe & Lamar’ Heating Up This Season:
“I’ve watched every frame of your [Ryan Seacrest's] heinousness that you have inflicted, but I’ve got to say ‘Khloe & Lamar‘ is really heating up this year. I am riveted watching that show. Because let me tell you, that is not what Khloe [Kardahsian] signed on for. She does not want to live in Dallas, I don’t care how many time she looks at the camera and says: ‘I love Dallas.’ She wants to be at Kitson on Robertson where she belongs.”

How Much Money Would You Have To Be Offered To Pose Nude?
Ryan doesn’t seem to think the price would be that high, so he first off asked her if she would be willing to pose nude? Her response: “Why not? absolutely.” Ellen K. thought Kathy may have already posed nude in a campaign for PETA. Well, Kathy set the record straight saying: “No, that’s the last thing I need. There are very few groups that frighten me, but let me tell you, PETA scares the hell out of me. Because I can just see them waiting for me outside Ryan’s house with paintballs.”

On Her New Talk Show On Bravo:
Kathy has been known to be a little bit edgy with her humor, so was Bravo a little nervous to give her a talk show? “Of course, how could they not be? They didn’t know what the show was. I still won’t tell them,” she says. Although, Kathy would love to do the show live, she tells us: “They won’t let me come close, they won’t let me even tape the same day.”

Kathy Griffin Confronts Ryan With Her Conspiracy Theory

Kathy’s talk show is not celebrity driven, but a ‘celebrity’ that will be appearing regularly is her mother. “It’s all her in the moment, you can not script Maggie Griffin. I actually like having her do the final segment of the show, because we call it ‘Maggie Tucks You In.’ At first I don’t know if the network loved the idea of a 91-year-old alcoholic on the show, but I’m telling you, people love her.” Check out the clip of Maggie below.

On Her Younger Boyfriend:
“I’m 51, he’s 33. I agree it’s disgusting, for him. But what hurts me the most is that he actually seems to think that you’re a nice guy,” she says. However, Kathy likes to keep this part of her life private. “After doing a reality show for 6 years, where I really sort of had to be open and honest about all of that. I was like: ‘Well, with the talk show I can have like one sliver of privacy,” she explains.

Ryan Seacrest Shares An Encounter With Kathy Griffin On The Emmy’s Red Carpet

Kathy continues, “He’s a civilian. He’s not in show business, he’s a regular guy and that’s one of the reasons I like him. He’s a nice guy, he didn’t sign on for this part. He doesn’t need to go online and hear people reading that he’s the most unlucky guy on the planet.” He seems like a pretty luck guy to us, but is he able to get a word in edgewise when he is with Kathy? She tells us: “Believe it or not, at night like he comes over and he kind of does most of the talking and I sort of am not like this crazy manic.”
