But Bruce teaches his kids how to shoot a different kind of gun when he takes them to a paintball course. While there, Bruce explains to his sons Brody and Brandon why he’s so determined to get a gun, and they agree with him. Bruce’s new obsession has also convinced Rob and Scott that maybe they should get a gun, too, but Kourtney nixes the idea.

But all the gun talk gets put on hold when pregnant Kim experiences pains in her stomach and fears she’s going into early labor.

Once she meets her mom at the doctor’s office, she explains that she cried throughout her entire flight from New York City to Los Angeles because the pain was so great.

“Why is this happening to me,” she sobs as the doctor checks for a heartbeat. “I hate it so much.”

After some tests and blood work, the doctor tells Kim he thinks she has an appendicitis, and it may require surgery. “Getting an appendicitis while pregnant is not fun, says Kim. “It’s not easy. It’s going to be really tough to go through.”

Luckily, the results come back negative for appendicitis, but she does have an infection, which is treated with antibiotics.

Still, Kim has another pain in her side … her pending divorce from Kris Humphries. After his legal team has pushed back on the deposition, it’s finally time. More than a year after they split, Kim heads to court to work towards ending her short marriage.

And although she was stressed out over the idea of the deposition, in the end, she says she feels so much better.

As for the Bruce vs Kris battle over the gun … well, he got it after all!

Just one day before the holiday, the rapper became a dad when Kim Kardashian gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter, at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Hospital, according to multiple reports.

In a preview clip, Bruce Jenner wants to buy a gun for the house because he thinks it will protect the family.

“You’re really great with [Kendall and Kylie],” he tells Bruce. “It’s interesting to watch how you were the girls because it’s not something I’m not really used to. You weren’t around when I was a kid” — to which Bruce cuts him off and says, “Now’s not the time to talk about it.”

Later, during a day out with Kendall, Kylie, and Rob, Bruce’s step-son is the one who encourages him to make it right with Brody. “I’d die to have that type of relationship,” Rob, whose own father has passed, tells Bruce. “Just remember it’s never too late to reconnect.”

So Bruce does just that and sits down for a heart-to-heart with Brody. “I can’t count how many birthdays that happened and I didn’t even get a phone call,” says Brody. “At the end of the day, that’s not too hard [for you].”

“I’ll take the blame for that,” responds Bruce. “I didn’t handle things right here, and that’s the biggest regret of my life.” The father and son eventually hug it out and tell each other, “I love you.”

Back in August 2011, Kim and Kris’ lavish wedding drew 4.4 million viewers on Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. The two remained together until October, when The Keeping up with the Kardashians star filed for divorce.
