The actor stopped by the show to debut the first trailer for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” The sneak peek shows Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta enjoying their victory tour. The celebration ends quickly, however, when President Snow gets wind of the festivities. “She has become a beacon of hope for them,” the totalitarian says in the trailer. “She has to be eliminated.”

Jennifer tells us that, thankfully, it was her mom that offered her a friendly reminder: “Jennifer always said she didn’t care about the size of the movie, she cared about the story; with ‘The Hunger Games’, she was finally being offered a big movie, that actually had a story line she adored.”

That made her decision an easy one. We suppose we should thank Jennifer’s mom for her outstanding Katniss performance, which has wowed audiences and lovers of “The Hunger Games” everywhere.
