She completed her hippie look with a velvet three-quarter sleeve from Sophie Theallet, and a House of Harlow 1960 “Nell” pumps and a vintage snakeskin clutch.

Shortly thereafter Vanessa Hudgens attended a release event for her latest film ‘Sucker Punch’ in Las Vegas wearing another version of the headthong. Two celebrities within one week sporting the same strange headpiece may be a slowly adopted trend, but you know its guaranteed to hit mainstream when a member of the Ryan Seacrest team follows suite.

Vanessa Hudgens called into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” to talk about her new film opening this weekend “Suckerpunch,” and her newfound love of tattoos.

Vanessa details how she became associated with “Suckerpunch.” She says, “I actually auditioned for it, and really fought for the part. I went in and read for it several times. I got lucky. I’m so happy.” Does she dread the audition process? “Not really. It’s kinda fun. I feel when I audition and I get the part it makes it that much better.” She continued, “It’s hard because I think that people see me as only one thing. If I wanted different kinds of parts I have to prove myself.”

Vanessa also revealed her new tattoo and her reasoning for it, “It’s a butterfly. I wanted it for a few years now, because a week before I was born a butterfly landed on my mom’s stomach in the park. So they found the name Vanessa from ‘Mariposa.’”

When asked how many tattoos she would limit herself to she enthusiastically replied, “Five or six! I love it! Its so much fun. Its such an addiction now. My mangers and agents keep saying, ‘don’t get more!’ But It may happen. I’m sorry I’m going to get some more.”
