Before heading over to the couch to promote his new movie After Earth, Will grabbed an extra microphone from bandleader Paul Shaffer. Accompanied by a loud and excited audience, Will broke into the first verse of the song and continued on for about a minute before settling in for his interview.

Will Smith and Jaden Smith try to answer that mystery in their new movie, After Earth.  The sci-fi flick explores a father and son who arrive on the planet 1,000 years into the future. Humans have left to live in space…while new and unfriendly species haven taken over.

As the United States celebrates Earth Week this week, Jaden admits shooting the film had an effect on him. “I feel like I really saw some true beauty in the world after shooting in Costa Rica,” the 14-year-old said. “After that experience, it really showed me how important it is to save the world.”

Will agrees and hopes the movie will allow consumers to think. “This film does exactly what I always dreamed to be able to do with entertain and to also be able to pose interesting questions,” the father of three said.

They all placed props like their trademark shades and iconic neuralyizers into a time capsule that’s going on a quick cross-country tour before being stored at NASA for the next 43 years. There’s no word on who will open it back up in the year 2055, but I imagine it might very well coincide with the release of Men in Black 32!

The Most Anticipated Movies For 2012 [VIDEO]

The interesting thing about this additional trailer is that it’s rumored to show “Born This Way” superstar Lady Gaga. According to E! Online, if you don’t blink, you just might be able to see Gaga at the 1:23 mark. On the movie’s IMDb page, Gaga is listed under actors, but it doesn’t confirm her character’s name.

According to IMDb, Agent J’s purpose in this movie is to not only fight the big bad fish (see trailer), but he also is sent back into time to save a younger version of his MIB partner Agent Kay (Josh Brolin) from getting eaten by a monster. If he gets eaten by this particular monster, that changes everything for the future. It’s been almost ten years (2002) since the last installment of “Men In Black (II)” came out. This trailer confirms that Tommy Lee Jones is in fact in the movie, unlike the first trailer that didn’t really show him very much.
